a Community For Women in stem
From proving your worth in every room to knowing it in every moment.
What is the meridian circle
The Meridian Circle exists to create the community we wished we’d had, a place where professional women in STEM can create authentic relationships and be exactly who they are.
Founded by three engineers with roots at NASA, built for everywoman in STEM ready to find her meridian moment
You have spent years solving problems no one else caould solve, leading teams through impossible odds, and delivering missions that mattered. And you have done it brilliantly. Somewhere along the way you started wondering if there was more, not more to achieve, but more to feel, to become, and more to give yourself.
The Meridian Circle was created for you.
Our misison
Together with a curated community of women who get it, reconnect with yourself with clarity, confidence, and connectionso you can live and lead with more intention and less noise.
Without:
White-knuckling your way through another year alone
Giving everything to your work and nothing to yourself.
Performing with confidence while quietly doubting everything
Struggling with the hard stuff; imposter syndrome, difficult conversations, and the particular complexity of leading as a woman and having no where to share it.
Going it alone. Being the Only. The only woman in the room, on the team, or at the leadership table, carrying experiences the people around you may never fully see.
You don’t need another room where you have to prove yourself. You need a room where you can be yourself
JOIN THE CIRCLE(add link)
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU:
You have built an impressive career, the credentials, the clearances, the accolades…but something still feels like it’s missing and you can’t quite name it.
You have spent years carefully calibrating how much of yourself to bring into every room, over-delivering, over-preparing, performing at a levelthat leaves no room for error. And underneath all of it is a woman who just wants to be seen. Not for what she has built or what she has proven, but for who she actually is.You want deep, meaningful connection with women who truly understand your world, but your industry keeps putting you in competition with the very women you need beside you.You are ready for something that feeds you, not just develops you, but you have never seen community that holds both your professional excellence and your full humanity in the same space.
THIS IS WHAT KEEPS MOST HIGH-ACHIEVING WOMEN IN STEM STUCK.
SUCCESS SHOULDN’T REQUIRE LEAVING PARTS OF YOURSELF BEHIND.
You have spent your entire career learning how to perform in systems that were never designed with you in mind. You adapted. You excelled. You made it work.
But no one taught you how to lead from the inside. How to stay whole while the demands multiply. How to find your people in an industry that too often asks you to be the only one.The result can be a strange paradox: extraordinary accomplishment alongside a longing for deeper connection, greater alignment, and something that feesl more real.
IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY
Imagine if
You had a circle of women who truly understood your world and showed up for you in it
You went from performing strength to actually feeling it, because the women around you reflected it back
You got quiet enough to hear what you actually want for your life and work and the courage to trust what you heard.
You felt full, you cup no longer running on obligation and adrenaline, but on purpose, connection, and the quiet confidence of a woman who knows her own worth.
You brought the unspoken thing into the room and instead of silence, you found a circle of women who already knew and felt it
Imagine having women you can call when something goes sideways at work or home and women you can’t wait to connect with.
Without:
Apologizing for being vulnerable
Shrinking or saying less
Competing for your seat at the table
IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT…..KEEP READING
FROM PROVING YOUR WORTH IN EVERY ROOM TO KNOWING IT IN EVERY MOMENT
A five month cohort community for women in STEM who are ready for deeper connection, greater alignment, and space to explore what comes next and what your Meridian moment is.
MONTHLY COMMUNITY CIRCLES
Once a month we gather. Facilitated by one of our founders, this is a guided space for open discussion of real issues in our lives, honest reflection, and genuine connection. Weaving mindfulness and somatic practice to help you regulate, release, and return to yourself before we open the circle to what’s actually happening in your life and work right now
MASTERCLASSES
We bring in expert voices to teach what the workplace rarely does, from AI literacy and self advocacy to boundary setting and hard conversaitions. Practical, powerful and built specifically for women leading in STEM, tech, and federal service.

NANCY NICHOLSON
I began my career as a thermal engineer at NASA, designing systems to manage energy in the harshest environments. Years later, I found myself fascinated by human energy, what give it, what drains it, what becomes possible when we learn to trust ourselves and own our value.
My path eventually took me into executive coaching. I understood what actually matters: not giving people answers, but helping them trust the ones they already have. That curiosity led me deeper into courage, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness.
I’ve sat across from extraordinary women, engineers, executives, leaders who could advocate brilliantly for everyone around them while quietly questioning their own worth. I’ve watched what happens when that changes.
I know this pattern because I’ve lived it. In 2006, a health crisis, spiritual reckoning, and lsosing my company’s NASA contract all converged. In 2013, divorce and a layoff while raising two kids in middle school. I could tell those as things that happpened to me. I choose to tell them as proof of what I can move through.
There’s a phrase i use: straighten your crown. it means remembering who you are. Speaking from grounded confidence that doesn’t require anyoen else’s permission.
Today as an ecescutive coach and leadership facilitator, I bring together the analytical mind of an engineer with a deep belief in intuition and our capacity to grow. I’m stil lexploring these questions in my own life, still growing, still pushing my edges, still choosing adventures that ask me to trust what I can’t completely see yet.

I built a 25 year career in aerospace and government contracting, spending 16 of those years in senior leadership roles supporting missions from NASA, NOAA, Space Force, and the NSA. As a thermal analyst, project manager, and executive, I worked on some of the most complex and consequential programs in modern space history, including the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes. After years performing for a version of success that someone else defined, I found myself accomplished, decorated, and yet disconnected from myself. When i lost a senior role I had earned, I gained something more important: the clarity to stop building someone else’s vision and start creating my own.
That clarity led me to yoga, to sound healing, and to building what I had always needed, a community where women are seen, restored, and celebrated for who they are beyond what they achieve. Today, as a Master Sound Healer, RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, Usui Holy Fire III Reiki Master Teacher, and found of the Alchem yof Sound Practitioner Certifiication, I bridge the precision of my engineering roots with the depth of my holistic practice, guiding women in STEM, tech, and federal service to lead from teh inside out. Through private mentorship, retreats, and The Meridian Circle, I create the spaces where brilliant women can be fully seen, deeply restored, and reminded of who they are beyond what they achieve. When she’s not mentoring or facilitating, you’ll find her discovering the newest restaurant with her family or paddleboarding with her daughters along the creeks and rivers of Maryland, living proof that a full life and meaningful work were never meant to be separate things.

I’m here to share my journey. As I turned 60 this year I watched my industry and the surrounding ecosystem get dismantled. What am I meant to do now that I have room to thrive, not just survive. How do i excavate my true self from the armor that I’ve grown over and under my skin for decades. Years of self sufficiency and fitting in took a toll on my brain, body and nervous system.
Over the last 35+ years I built a career in aerospace advancing from engineer to executive leader. I worked hard, I did well, and I loved and hated it at the same time. While i had some extraordinary achievements and some really fun times, I struggled with being different, always feeling like I spoke a different language.
I always had a feeling that there was a formula to figure out, a trick, a template, something that would help me feel more aligned. I got a masters in OD, read books, went to therapy, workshops, and retreats and even took a 3 yr glorious sabbatical. What I’ve come to understand is that its not a problem to solve, its a journey to walk, and its not meant to be walked alone.
Parker Palmer wrote one of my favorite quotes about vocation and defined that as “not a goal you pursue, but as a calling you hear. It is an inward journey of discovering your authentic self and living in alignment with your inherent gifts, limits, and true nature…the place where your deep gladness meets the word’s deep need”. Damn, that sounds delicious, yes, please, can I have that. My mission is to find that.
